Presentation and Assignment Tools
Imagine.....students creating presentations and assignments different from the regular pencil and paper or construction paper tasks!  There's a novel idea!  We have begun to veer away from the traditional book report.  Now students can create a comic or a Bitstrip, depicting characters and recreating events from the story.  They could even record their spoken narrative of the story using VoiceThread or Audacity.

 -students can create their own theme, characters, and props to include in their animated slide show.  They can upload images and media clips to enhance their presentation.
www.prezi.com -Prezi is a presentation software program that allows you to upload photos and media, as well as add text.  The slideshow zooms and pans to other 'bubbles' or 'boxes' of information for a seamless and visually appealing presentation.

Software

Microsoft Power Point-text and media images can be uploaded to include in a PowerPoint presentation
Audacity-students can create podcasts, in which they simply record their voice to convey their message

iPad Apps


Explain Everything-an interactive whiteboard-type application that allows you to import, export, upload, animate and narrate.

iMovie-students can upload photos and provide captions while the slideshow plays.  Music and theme can be chosen.

Powtoon-students can choose their own theme, characters, and props to include in their animated slide show.  They can upload images and media clips to enhance their presentation.
